United Cerebral Palsy

United Cerebral Palsy

One of my first and fondest experiences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania was having the opportunity to work with United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia. Tasked with fundraising and promoting visibility of the organization, my team and I designed and implemented a promotional plan. One of the main methods we used to do this was by designing multiple flyers (shown below). Another one of our goals was to raise $800 in supplies, and we ended up raising $2325 worth of Art Supplies through a donation channel I discovered while researching methods of fundraising. I also organized various fundraisers by forming partnerships with companies on campus and in Philadelphia. I served as the sole point of contact between my team and the organization, and I sent weekly updates to the client. I enjoyed orchestrating our fundraising efforts and designing the experience of volunteering.

After analyzing my team’s performance and noticing opportunities to increase our effectiveness, I delivered a status report with concrete suggestions on how to improve.
